You will learn to:

  • Develop, produce and deliver unique video and audio projects for TV and commercial broadcasts
  • Work individually and in teams to create dynamic films, news packages, music videos, and commercials to exceed client expectations
  • Showcase your artistic talents using professional audio/visual equipment and editing software

Description

This program prepares students for careers in planning and coordinating various aspects of video production. In this program, students learn fundamental skills in image creation for video, print, and web publishing including digital photography and animation. They become familiar with professional audio editing software used to edit, mix and produce quality sound effects and acquire advanced skills in video editing and production. Students gain skills required for Adobe Certified Associate industry certifications.

The following are optional courses that may be added to this program:

  1. Advanced Design Techniques
  2. Digital Editing & Production Photography
  3. Advanced Digital Media Production

Class Hours

This program may be taken as a half-day session in the morning or afternoon, or as a full-day option for ADULT students who wish to accelerate their progress.

  • Morning sessions run from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
  • Afternoon sessions run from 11:50 a.m. to 2:50 p.m.
  • The full-day schedule combines both sessions.
