Great Plains' CareerTech Student Organizations (CTSO's) help you master your technical and leadership skills to increase your career potential. Join a student organization, get involved, meet new friends and have fun!

As a member of a CTSO, you will have a number of opportunities to:

  • Develop leadership skills
  • Attend seminars and special events
  • Compete in local state, and national skills and leadership contests

The Business Professionals of America logo features text in green, red, and blue.

Business Professionals of America (BPA) is a national co-curricular CTSO for high school, college and middle school students preparing for careers in business and information technology. The mission of BPA is to contribute to the preparation of a world-class workforce through the advancement of leadership, citizenship, academic and technological skills.

Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) provides a unique program of leadership development, motivation, and recognition exclusively for secondary, post-secondary and collegiate students enrolled in health programs. HOSA’s mission is two-fold, to promote career opportunities in the health care industry and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people.

SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry representatives, working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce. The mission of SkillsUSA is to provide quality education experiences for students in leadership, teamwork, citizenship and character development.

Family Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is a nonprofit national career and technical student organization for young men and women with family as its central focus. FCCLA members become leaders in their families, careers, and communities. FCCLA’s mission is to promote personal growth and leadership development through Family and Consumer Science education.

Technology Students of America is an organization that provides leadership training and opportunities in technology, innovation, design, and engineering. Members apply STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) concepts through their educational program.
