Fortney and Bailey named to lead Great Plains.

Clarence Fortney, a 1977 graduate of Great Plains Technology Center, became the school’s seventh superintendent on July 1st.  Fortney succeeds Dr. Tom Thomas who retired on June 30th. FLYING HIGH AT OKLAHOMA SPEEDFEST

Great Plains Technology Center’s “Frigates” team had the fastest plane at the 2016 Oklahoma State University Speed Fest Championship at Stillwater.  The Frigates’ plane named “The Thrill” hit 60 mph shattering the previous record of 51mph.  The Great Plains team also won the competition’s “Best Airplane Build” based on its construction quality and innovation.   The […]
