Eleven students selected for Great Plains new Ambassadors program have already undergone rigorous training on how to improve their public speaking skills and more “leadership in-service” is on the way. GPTC staff members provided the initial training that also included ice-breaker and team building activities. The Student Ambassadors will represent the technology center at public relations activities and will also assist with student recruitment. Additional leadership development opportunities will be offered in the spring semester.
