Great Plains Technology Center Foundation, Inc.

Established in 1980, the Great Plains Technology Center Foundation, Inc. connects the community to the technology center to help students achieve their career education goals. This support is gathered by securing private donations to provide financial assistance for our students.

The IRS has granted the Foundation a 501 (c) 3 status as a non-profit organization. Contributions are deductible to the fullest extent of federal law. It is managed by a local, voluntary Board of Trustees, separate from the Great Plains Technology Center Board of Education.

Since its inception in 1980 the Foundation has provided more than $2.5 million dollars financial help to more than 3,300 Great Plains students.

1. Foundation Scholarships
These general purpose scholarships are based on financial need. Scholarship amounts vary and are applied toward tuition.

2. Next Step Scholarships
Next Step Scholarships are designed specifically for individuals who are within two years of their high school graduation date. Full-time Next Step Scholarships are in the amount of $1,575.00 and applied towards tuition.
